Gutterball 2 [Game Download] Review
I downloaded this to my older computer running XP Home SP2 (soon to be SP3 hopefully !) and it runs well. I upped the resolution to 800x600 from the default 640x480 because the game just looks better at the higher resolution. If you have a better cpu and graphics card you can go many gradations higher than that. On this machine 800x600 is as good as it gets ! So the graphic ability of this game is a big plus. It's a 14mb game and requires little resources unless you choose to play it at a very high resolution. It's simple and fun with announcers that say panned lines (Natasha's my fave) with lines like 'you're making the place hot' and '3 strikas in a row oh you're wonderful!'. I just play this game on a few 'normal' lanes but there are some very weird and fairly difficult lanes like iceberg and funhouse. You'll definitely be rolling gutterballs there ! This cheapo game is good for maybe 2 or 3 200 plus games a day just so I can hear Natasha praise me or tell me I stink in her steamy little Russian accent. It's nothing to be taken seriously but for a very casual one person game it really hits a nerve.
