Little Shop - Memories [Game Download] Review
I love the "Little Shop" game franchise. In general, I have found each game to be better than the last and I'm longing for another installment to be issued. What are the things I like? Time to find items is limited so you have to hustle (but of course after you play the same scenes a few times it gets easier); the game has lots of trophies to play for and my goal is always to get them all each time I play the game; there are lots of "special" items to ferret out including hints (?), thermometers, exploding cans, magnets, and so on.
Blitz mode is the best!! I have not seen blitz mode in any other type of game, and I really love it. In blitz mode your goal is to find every hidden item in the scene, sometimes as many as 100 items. I often blitz the same scene several times and submit my fastest time to the online community. It's amazing how fast some players can complete a blitz.
I have one problem with Little Shop - Memories that I haven't found with any other installment: the music. The tune that plays constantly in the background is annoying to the point that I sometimes turn the music completely off to avoid it. All the other installments had tuneful, lilting background music that accompanied the game nicely. This one doesn't. Otherwise, it's just as great as its predecessors.
